Yellow Edits
Yellow highlights indicate sentences that are difficult to read in Hemingway’s app. This suggestion helps you find difficult or long sentences. You will also often see purple highlights in difficult sentences, but the need to suggest that the complexity or length of the sentence is an issue. The most easily overlooked suggestion appears in yellow because a difficult sentence is not an issue.
Red Edits
Finally, the Hemingway Writing shows you difficult sentences, which can be at least two or more individual sentences, which are always long. You can edit the Hemingway app with zero red marks. These are some difficult words that need editing, so these sentences can confuse the reader in the writing.
